church, museum, NRHP - National Register of Historic Places, interesting place, historical building, history museum
Built in 1871, this is one of the oldest public buildings in Northwest Arkansas. It was built on land donated by Rev. John Holcombe and was originally home to the Regular Baptist, Liberty Baptist, and Methodist Episcopal churches as well as the Masons. In the 1920s it housed the Women's Civic Club and served as a classroom in the 1950s. In 1935 it was purchased by the New Era Lodge #36 of the International Order of Odd Fellows (IOOF). In January 2005 the Odd Fellows turned the building and land over to the City of Springdale and the Shiloh Museum of Ozark History. The building underwent a recent renovation, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP).
