Bridge which carries I-495 over the Christina River at the Port of Wilmington...recently closed due a pylon found to be "twisting" under the south side of the bridge.

  • This has become a MAJOR traffic nightmare for people travelling I-95 in northern Delaware as I-495 serves as a major bypass to the older stretch of I-95 through the city of Wilmington. It is estimated it could be months before the highway fully reopens!
