198-foot, 16-story Art-Deco office building completed in 1927. Designed by George & Edward Blum, it is clad in buff-colored brick above a 3-story base of limestone and cast-iron. The ground floor has entrance in both limestone end bays, with storefronts in between. The main entrance is at the east, with brass-and-glass doors set under a round-arch. The west bay has a service entrance with metal doors. There are single-windows in the end bays at the 2nd & 3rd floors, while the middle section has three sets of wide show-windows in black cast-iron framing with brass moldings. The cast-iron spandrels are decorated with alternating brass trident-like shapes. The base is capped by a corbelled band course.
The brick upper floors have ten narrow bays of single-windows, separated by uninterrupted projecting piers. The brick spandrels each have three recessed panels and stone sills with pointed tops to the recessed panels. A series of shallow, cascading setbacks begins at the six western bays above the 10th floor, while the 1st and 4th bays from the east first set back above the 11th, and the two remaining bays above the 12th, creating the effect of a projecting tower at the east side. At each setback, the piers have Art-Deco styled stone capitals.
The east elevation is clad in brown brick with vertical bands of lighter-colored brick. It has a bay of single-windows near the front, and a bay of paired windows at the rear. The ground floor is occupied by Scheman's Bryant Park Hardware.
