5-story Neo-Classical residential building completed in 1896 as a dormitory for married students of the General Theological Seminary of the Episcopal Church across the street. Designed by Neville & Bagge, it has three wings behind the unified facade of Roman brick and limestone. The ground floor is rusticated, and has three entrances with low stoops. Some of the 4th floor windows are round-arched, and a dentiled band course forms the sills of the top floor windows. The building is crowned by a grand modillioned cornice with carved swag in the fascia board. Three black iron fire escape with basket-style landings runs down the facade.

Alan Wanzenberg Architects designed the 37-unit condominium conversion in 2012, with the Bortolami Gallery on the ground floor.
