5-story Renaissance-revival residential building originally completed in the mid-1800s as a 4-story factory and 2-story stable. These were acquired in 1883 by James and Anastasia Roon, and in 1885, converted to a 5-story tenement designed by Joseph M. Dunn.

The building facade is constructed of red brick with metal lintels and sills. The iron framing of the ground floor may survive from the earlier factory that originally occupied the building. It is crowned by a pressed metal bracketed roof cornice with swags and the date "1885" inscribed in the fascia board.
