Add category
7-story cooperative-apartment building completed in 1964. Designed by Sidney Goldhammer, it is clad in off-white brick above a low ground floor of red brick. Facing Washington Street, the middle section of the building is angled away from street. The facade has a regular pattern of single and double casement windows, and is topped by a simple parapet with metal coping. Several red-painted fire escapes run down the facade in various locations. The building's 214 apartments were converted to a cooperative in 1986.
