3-story Neo-Classical residential building completed in 1904. Designed by Frederick Steigleiter for G. D. Kuper & Bros. to serve as the headquarters of their shipping and trucking brokerage firm. The Kuper family retained this property until 1940. The structure has also housed a variety of commercial tenants over the years, including L.E. Fuller Laboratory, inks and chemicals (c. 1923-35); Herman Horning’s Photo Art Studio, and several accountants. 1961, the building was converted to one apartment per upper story, with a ground-story store.

It is clad in red brick with brownstone voussoir lintels and a triangular pediment with brick corbelling and a small round opening. The pediment is terminated with a decorative wrought-iron crest. The residential entrance door in the westernmost bay has a stoop and wood and glass door flanked by a cast-iron pier on the eastern side. The ground floor is occupied by Gourmet 157 grocery.
