5-story cooperative-apartment building completed in 1890. Designed by Julius Mankowitz, it is clad in dark red brick. The ground-level storefront on the West 11th Street side was altered in 1955. Each story is separated from the floor below by a horizontal stone band course running across the building under the windowsills. A large, bracketed roof cornice, with a classical circular motif set between the brackets in the fascia, crowns the structure. The ground floor is occupied by Wallse restaurant.
