 apartment building, 1905_construction

7-story Medieval Italian-style cooperative-apartment building completed in 1905. Designed by Robert D. John as a warehouse. Clad in reddish-brown brick, the facade is divided into three sections. A central area of three windows is flanked on each side by a tier of single windows. The bay on the left terminates in a two-stoty arched tower with corbeled brickwork at its base. This corbeling is repeated elsewhere, forming an interesting design in the central section and at the right side of the building, as well. The openings are segmental-arched throughout. The building was converted to apartments in 1985.
