 apartment building  Add category

6-story Romanesque-revival residential building completed in 1900. Designed by Moore & Landsiedel, it features a rounded corner, and conservative Romanesque-revival elements such as the round-arched top floor. It is clad in dark grey brick, with splayed lintels with keystones above the windows. The rounded corner is framed by brick quoins, and the top floor is marked by small brick band courses running across it. The building is missing its roof cornice. The handsome doorway on Hudson Street features a full entablature carried on Roman Ionic capitals. The ground floor, a mis-matched hodgepodge of storefronts, is occupied by Cafe Panino Mucho Giusto, a small convenience store, and Spasso Italian restaurant.
