4-story residential building originally completed in 1848 and 1849 as a pair of Greek-revival row houses. In 1943, they were joined, and the stoops removed to provide a common basement entrance. The stuccoed basement has been painted brown, contrasting in texture and color with the red brick surface above. The windows have simple stone lintels and sills, and the facade is crowned by the original roof cornice with crisply detailed dentiled molding and unadorned fascia board.
