3-story Italianate residential building completed in 1854 as a townhouse for David R. Doremus, who built it himself. It is clad in red-painted brick with a low stoop leading to an elaborately paneled door and door frame. The windows are complemonted by lintels with tiny cornices. The house is crowned by an elegant cornice which has ornamental console brackets and a paneled fascia.
