3-story residential building originally completed in 1892. It was completely altered in 1953 for the Shevcenko Scientific Society by Julian K. Jastrensky, architect. The present mixed brick facade is a replacement, but most of the eight original window openings were retained; the westernmost has been bricked-in, and the easternmost partially bricked-in, with new smaller windows. Vertically banded aluminum siding separates each floor from the next (partially missing between the 2nd & 3rd floors) and is used as a facing for the parapet which crowns the building. It has since been reconverted to residential use.
