4-story residential building completed in 1845, erected by Solomon Banta. It was completely refaced in tan brick in 1927, when it was called the Hatoff-Hatoff Studio Building. The building is extremely simple, its only decoration afforded by the brickwork, with a course of headers alternating with stretchers every sixth row. It has steel casement windows and a brick roof parapet with a stepped section raised in the center. The ground floor is occupied by Cafe Cluny, a bistro sibling of Odeon and Cafe Luxembourg. It's named for a town in Burgundy.
