apartment building, Greek Revival (architecture), 1840s construction
4-story Greek-revival residential building completed in 1847 as a townhouse for Alfred A. Milner, a baker. It remains virtually unchanged except for the ground floor, which has been remodeled for commercial space with an arch-pedimented doorway leading to the upper floors. The facade is clad in red brick, and topped by a fine wooden roof cornice carried on evenly spaced console brackets. The ground floor is occupied by Cafe Bonsignour.
