Valkumey - Chaunskom village in the area of Chukotka Autonomous Okrug. Located on the shores of Chaunskoy Bay (East Siberian Sea), 12 kilometers YU.-Z. from the town of Pevek.

The settlement was founded in 1941, for the development of tin deposits Valkumey. In 1968, the population of the village has reached 3,7 thousand. Currently, the production of partially dismantled, partially inhibited. Since 1998, the village closed.
