3-story Italianate residential building completed in 1868. Designed by R.G. Hatfield as a townhouse for William Adams. It was originally clad in brownstone, but has since been smooth-stuccoed and shorn of ornament. It does, however, retain its high stoop, segmental-arched doorway and basement windows, and a roof cornice supported on ornate console brackets with paneled fascia.
