On 20 January 2014, a Britten-Norman Islander light aircraft belonging to the Superior School of Aviation in Romania (Romanian: Școala Superioară de Aviație Civilă) crashed in the Apuseni Mountains at an altitude of approximately 1,400 metres (4,600 ft), near the village of Petreasa, between Alba and Cluj counties.
