condominium, 1860s construction
5-story residential building completed in 1868. Designed by Henry Engelbert, the fifth floor has a mansard roof, with dormers which are crowned by triangular pediments. The segmental-arched windows on the facades are now shorn of ornament, and the round-arched street entrances have been simplified. The building was originally designed to house three families above each store. The facade is clad in red brick, with a black-painted first floor, roof cornice and dormers. The ground floor is occupied by Burberry Brit.
