A pair of 5-story residential building completed together in 1873 as townhouses. Designed by William Jose, they had ground-floor stores installed during construction. Both are clad in smooth brownstone. The heavy bracketed cornice, with imposing arched pediment at No. 113 shows the original appearance of the pair. In the late 1960s, the cornice at No. 111 was removed and the wall behind it smooth-stuccoed to provide a low parapet. The ground floors are occupied by Miller's Tea Room, Lamore Lingere & Apparel, Stick Stone & Bone native America jewelry, and The Leatherman leather apparel store.
