The polygon describes the upper and partly very narrow section of Wadi Abdel Malik the begins closely to the high cliff in the south and by this is the longest wadi in Gilf Kebir / Abu Ras Plateau. Very difficult to drive by car, entering point is Lama Monod Pass.
When taking the Lama trail on the plateau - you cross a flat section of Abdel Malik (see photo), but you cannot follow the Wadi northbound.
