6-story residential building completed in 1856. It is believed to be the earliest apartment house in Greenwich Village. It is a very plain red brick building with black stone trim, capped by a projecting cornice with brackets. Stores flank the central entrance to the building, and cast-iron columns support the upper floors. The ground floor is occupied by Tattoo Heaven.
