A series of four 4-story Greek-revival residential buildings completed together in 1847. They were built as an investment for Andrew B. Haxtun, a stock broker. From 1839 on he lived, in the mansion at 45 Grove Street around the corner.

The four houses are clad in light red brick, and are treated as a unified facade. They have simple stone window lintels and a plain unifying cornice above the store fronts, which were added later. In the 1900s, they were converted to apartments, and most recently renovated in 2012. The ground floors are occupied by A.O.C. French restaurant, See optical, and Caffe Muzio.
