5-story residential building completed around 1880. It is clad in reddish-orange brick, with an orange granite, metal, and glass storefront at the ground floor on the east facade; it has glass double-doors at the middle. The upper floors facing the avenue have four bays of single-windows with flat stone sills and lintels. The roof line is marked by a black metal cornice with brackets and modillions.

The longer south facade on 47th Street has a short storefront return at the east end, and the residential entrance at the west end of the ground floor, atop two stone steps, set in a round-arch. There are black wood-and-glass double-doors below a fanlight with a keystone. They are flanked by a pair of brick pilasters supporting a small stone cornice. The upper floors have three bays of single-windows at the center of the facade, flanked by a small, square vent at the top of the top three floors. A grey metal fire escape runs down two of the bays, with the landing on the 2nd floor spanning all three. The roof line is stepped, and has a stone coping. The ground floor is occupied by Five Brothers Gourmet Market.
