A pair of joined 3-story mercantile buildings originally completed in 1839 as rowhouses. These two most resemble their original appearance among the several on the block completed around the same time. The facades are clad in brownstone, each three bays wide. The fronts are unified by a green metal roof cornice. In 1942, an alteration was made for a restaurant designed by Bloch & Hesse which featured tiling by Rafael Guastavino. The ground floor is now occupied by Lifethyme Natural Market.
