Activated in 1957 as an Auxiliary Radar Site in the CAM Sector of the DEW Line, the CAM-1 or Jenny Lind Island station operated continuously for the entire life of the DEW Line before being inactivated in 1992. Not selected for continued use as part of the North Warning System, the entire station was razed and the site environmentally remediated during the early 2000's.
