Point Hope is a small 2nd-class city in North Slope Borough, Alaska. The population was 674 at the 2010 census.
Point Hope is a Traditional Tikeraqmuit Inupiat Eskimo subsistence community, and one of the oldest continuously occupied Inupiat Eskimo areas in Alaska, dating back at least 2,500 years.
