Noorvik is a city along the Nazuruk Channel of the Kobuk River in the Northwest Arctic Borough of Alaska. The population was 668 at the 2010 census.
Noorvik is primarily an Inupiat Eskimo community with a subsistence lifestyle.
The original village was established by Kowagmuit Inupiat Eskimo fishermen and hunters from Deering, AK in the early 1900s, as well as people from Oksik, AK a few miles upriver. The post office was established in 1937. The City government was incorporated in 1964.
