Fort Yukon is a small city at the confluence of the Yukon and Porcupine Rivers, Alaska. The population was 598 as of 2011.

The highest temperature ever recorded in Alaska occurred in Fort Yukon on June 27, 1915, when it reached 100°F. A cold-war White Alice communications site and an Air Force station were established here in the 1950's.
