Add category
7-story Renaissance-revival office building completed in 1906. Designed by George H. Anderson, it was built at the same time as the nearly identical building next door, which lists Charles Abbott French as the architect. Both buildings have a 2-story carved limestone base, a 4-story buff-colored brick mid-section, and a 3-bay 7th floor with a continuous bracketed limestone lintel. The 6th floor of No. 39 differs in that it has a flat arch instead of a segmental one, and the building also slightly narrower spandrels between floors. The ground floor is occupied by Yakiniku Futago restaurant.
