185-foot, 20-story postmodern residential building completed in 1987. Designed by Rothzeid, Kaiserman, Thompson & Bee, it is faced in brown brick. The 2-story base has rusticated limestone piers on granite plinths (the corner piers are faced in brick). The east facade is four bays wide, and the north facade spans five bays. The end bays of both elevations have half-octagonal balconies from the 5th to the 16th floors. Each balcony has a concrete floor, with iron railings at the front and concrete sidewalls; the whole half-octagon is topped by a rounded, wide metal handrail. Below each window unit is a black rectangular vent. The roofline is crowned by a copper-covered, 3-story sloping mansard roof, with a recessed penthouse above that. The ground floor is occupied by Bandier apparel. The condominium entrance is at the western bay on 16th Street, with a long black canvas awning extending out over the sidewalk.
