  • Lozovo is a small neighborhood of Burgas, about 6 km from the city center. Since November 12, 1987, it has been a neighborhood of Burgas. Lozovo is located in the interior of the Burgas Lowland and has no access to the Black Sea, like other neighborhoods of Burgas. The neighborhood is located about 6 km from the city, about 2 km north of the Burgas Lake. Lozovo, like other Burgas neighborhoods, was founded as a refugee camp after the Balkan Wars of 1912-13, when refugees from Aegean Thrace and Macedonia. The name of the neighborhood comes from the vineyard massifs that were once located west of it.
