This building within the Washington Navy Yard is home to Naval Sea Systems Command. It was formerly an industrial building but was later converted to offices. The building is named for Joshua Humphreys, the naval architect who designed the original six frigates of the US Navy. It was the site of the 2013 Navy Yard Shooting and now hosts a memorial to the victims.
