The current temporary home to the University of New Orleans Privateers men's and women's basketball teams. The Privateers have played at the "Chamber of Horrors" since the 2005-06 season when Hurricane Katrina damaged their normal home, Lakefront Arena. The Privateers also played here from 1969 to 1993, when Lakefront Arena opened. During that time, the Human Performance Center was known as the Health & Physical Education Center.
