The football stadium for Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns. The stadium was recently beautified, the concrete was pressure washed, everything was repainted, and the natural grass field was replaced with artificial turf. Every home game during football season, the parking lot fills with tailgaitors. Lafayette and UL have some of the best tailgaiting in the country.

The parking lot is also used for Le Festival de Mardi Gras a' Lafayette. A annual fair held on the Friday before Mardi Gras through Mardi Gras Day. It attracts over 150,000 patrons a year, and grows bigger every year. Fun for young and old, its one of the best places for families with children to celebrate Mardi Gras.
