6-story Renaissance-revival cooperative-apartment building completed in 1902 as a stable. Designed by Bernstein & Bernstein, the ground floor has a blue-painted cast-iron storefront, with a sloped roof extension on the 6th Avenue side. The facade on this side is clad in red brick, and angles back, following the angle of 6th Avenue. Most of the windows are segmental-arched. The front facade on Spring Street is more detailed. The 2nd floor is clad in beige brick with thin horizontal bands, a Greek-fret design across the top, and splayed lintels with keystones over the windows. Floors 3-5 are clad in a pale red brick, with narrow stone bands across each pier. There are textured panels of brickwork in the spandrels between the floors, and the 5th floor windows are round-arched, with floating stone headers. Above a stone cornice with large dentils, the top floor has a brighter shade of red brick, and large square-headed windows, with the same thin stone banding. A simple brick parapet caps the building. An iron fire escape runs down the right side of this facade. The ground floor is occupied by Aquagrill Oyster Bar.
