5-story residential building completed in 1889. The original design by James W. Cole was cut and given a chamfered corner when Seventh Avenue was cut through the block in 1913, giving the site an alternate address of 27 South Seventh Avenue. The facade (which was painted grey in 2013) is clad in brownstone, with rough stone on the ground floor side facing Bedford, which has two round-arched windows. The side facing Seventh Avenue has the entrance, with a short stoop, pilasters, and a triangular pediment. The windows have cornices with corbelled feet, and triangular pediments on some. Both facades are topped by a black metal roof cornice with brackets and modillions, and a black iron fire escape runs down the Bedford side.
