148-foot, 12-story Neo-Renaissance residential building completed in 1911. Designed by Rouse & Goldstone as an office building, it was converted to condominium lofts in 1997 by Lifeform Architects. It has a 2-story limestone base, with red brick upper floors with slightly projecting piers. The main entrance is framed by Doric columns and topped by a rounded pediment. The top floors have segmental-arched windows, with large projecting ornamental piers of brick and stone with terra-cotta trim between the bays. The ground floor is occupied by a TD Bank branch.

The Duane Park Building has had a distinguished history in the newspaper business. In the 1930s and 1940s the building was occupied by
Field Publications, publishers of the radical tabloid PM. In the late 1940s ownership of the paper changed hands, and it was renamed the Star. Soon after, a new venture, The Compass, moved into the building, retaining columnists from the Star. The paper continued until 1952, In the mid-1950s, the plant was taken over by El Diario de Nueva York. Later the building contained offices, and was then converted to residential around 2000.
