5-story Italianate/Renaissance-revival residential building completed in 1858 as a store-and-loft building. The building spans from Warren through to Chambers Street, and was renovated in 2006. The ground floors have sandstone piers with scalloped corners surrounding aluminum and glass storefronts and doorways.The upper floors are clad in tan Dorchester sandstone, with segmental-arched windows on floors 2-4, and round-arched windows on the top floor. All the windows have stone surrounds and sills with corbelled feet, except on the 2nd floor, where there are box sills above the ground-foor cornice. The 2nd and 3rd-floor windows, as well as the center window on the 4th floor, are topped by ornate carvings. The facade is crowned by a black metal roof cornice with brackets, modillions, and a geometrically-decorated frieze.

From 1858 to 1879, the building was occupied the saddlery hardware business of Swift, Seaman & Co. and its successors, and continuously housed saddlery hardware, hardware, and saddlery/harness businesses for nearly ninety years. In later years, the building was occupied by electronics and photographic supply firms. In 2006 the building was converted to condominiums. The ground floor is occupied by Philip Williams Posters.
