6-story Renaissance-revival residential building completed in 1890. Designed by F. & W.E. Bloodgood as a store-and-loft building, it is clad in brown brick with sandstone ornament. It has a 2-story stone and cast-iron base with molded piers and bracketed, cast-iron columns at the 2nd floor. The upper floors have continuous projecting windows sills, continuous flat lintels, decorative brickwork, and round-arched lintels at the 6th floor with molded architraves. A wrought-iron fire escape runs down the center of the facade, which is topped by an elaborate roof parapet featuring corbels, dentils, and terra-cotta panels.

From about 1910 to 1940, the ground floor was leased to the Standard Cafeteria, one of the earliest chains of eating establishments, which was founded at this location by noted restauranteur Max Auster. Although the Chambers Street restaurant was sold in 1940, Auster continued to operate Standards at other locations until his death. The building was occupied by a variety of business for the rest of the century, and converted to condominiums shortly after 2000. The ground floor is occupied by Ecco! restaurant.
