7-story modernist residential building completed in 1963. Designed by Leo Stillman, it is clad in beige brick. The main entrance is on 56th Street, with slightly-recessed glass double-doors surrounded by polished grey granite. The granite frame is topped by a stainless-steel cornice, and a peaked, brown canvas canopy extends out over the sidewalk. There are four bays to the west, one with a single-window, and the other three with double-windows, in metal framing above vents. There are two different service doors to the right of the entrance, and a blue-and-white metal-and-glass storefront at the east end that is covered by a red awning, continuing onto the east facade on the avenue, where there are additional metal-and-glass storefronts to the north.
The east facade's upper floors have six bays, with double-windows in the end bays and two middle bays, and triple-windows in the other two. The end bays are slightly set-back, and there are air-conditioning vents cut below each window bay. A large, beige pipe runs up the middle of the facade, and there is a beige metal fire escape to the north. Below the roof line, which has a metal coping, there are additional small vents at each bay.
The upper floors of the south facade have ten full bays, with an extra bay of smaller single-windows at the east end. All of the other bays have triple-windows, except the double-windows in the west end bay, and paired windows in the three bays that have fire escapes. The roof line matches that of the east facade.
At the far west end, there is a ramp down to the underground parking garage. The west elevation is clad in the same brick, and has a bay of double-windows near the center, with a bay of paired windows with another fire escape just to the north; a bay of smaller single-windows frames both middle bays. The building contains 93 apartment units.
