4-story Italianate residential building completed in 1872. It is clad in red brick above a stuccoed ground floor with a 2-toned red-painted diamond pattern. There is a storefront at the west end with two plate-glass windows at the north and a glass door and sidelight at the south, atop a small set of steps. On the south facade this storefront has one plate-glass window and a narrower single-window. To the right is a tall opening (also part of the west storefront) with metal-and-glass infill, including a door at the ground floor; the windows extend up to the 2nd floor where there is a navy-blue canvas awning. The east end of the ground floor has another single-window and a small doorway to the upper floors, followed by a 2-story extension with a glass-and-iron door and sidelight panels at the ground floor, covered by a rounded navy-blue canopy. The diamond-pattern of the stucco continues onto this extension, including on the 2nd floor, where there is a diamond-shaped window. A black iron spiral staircase tops the 2nd floor, accessing the upper floors.
The upper floors on the west facade have three bays of windows with bracketed, black stone sills and lintels with black metal cornices. The south facade has four bays on the 3rd & 4th floors, with the end bays spaced out; at the 2nd floor the end bays flank the tall opening extending up from the ground floor. These windows also have black sills and cornices, and the windows also have small iron planter box railings. Both the south and west facades are crowned by a black metal roof cornice with console brackets, modillions, dentils, and panels. The ground floor is occupied by a Subway sandwiches, and Simpson & Co. Flower Studio.
