 apartment building  Add category

4-story residential building originally completed as three separate but matching townhouses in about 1880. They were joined internally and converted to apartments around 1920, with a new facade of white stucco, nine bays wide. There are ground-floor entrances (both with glass doors), down one step from the sidewalk, at the west end bay and the 3rd bay from the east. The 4th bay from the west has a short stairway down to a basement door. The other bays, and those on the upper floors, have single-windows. Most of them on the ground floor have white iron grilles, and on the 2nd floor they have tan metal railings above a tan band course. A modest tan metal cornice caps the roof line.
