5-story early-modern residential building completed in 1957. Designed by John J. Schlick, it opened as a laboratory building for St. Clare's Hospital, which closed in the 1980s. It now contains apartments. The facade is clad in red brick above a grey granite water table. At the ground floor it has an entrance on the left, with a glass door, sidelight, and transom. To the right is a triple-window with a minimalist decorative grille and stone sill. The 2nd & 3rd floors have bands of five windows, also with stone sills and black metal mullions. The top two floors have two bays of 2-over-2 windows with stone sills. The west elevation is faced in plain concrete, except at the shallow central light well, which is clad in spotted tan brick and has windows of various sizes and shapes.
