4-story residential building, composed of tenement buildings originally completed together in 1872. The facades are all clad in red brick. The main entrance is at No. 425, with a glass door, sidelight, and transom under a rounded, blue canvas canopy. There is a large window on either side, with a low basement windows below the western of the two. The ground floor of the facade to the east has two windows grouped at the west end, and another at the east, and the far east facade has two slightly smaller windows grouped at the west and a secondary doorway at the far east end. A beige, stuccoed lintel caps the ground floor on these two facades, with beige iron pilasters separating the paired windows from the eastern bay. The two western facades have basement areaways in front, surrounded by low, black iron fencing. They have three bays of large windows at the 1st floor, with basement windows below each bay, except for the easternmost, where there is a sideways staircase leading down to the basement level. The basement windows are topped by beige stone lintels, and the middle 1st-floor window at both facades has a peaked stone lintel with brackets (another peaked lintel can be seen above the canopy of the main entrance). The windows flanking the center bay at both of the westernmost facade have beige stone lintels, which have been removed from the other facade. The windows have brick sills joined by stone bands, and there are bands also connecting the lintels.

The upper floors have four bays of single-windows on each facade, with stone sills and flat stone lintels, both joined by grey stone bands, at the three west facades; the two eastern facades have black, bracketed sills and black metal cornices on the windows. Each facade has a black metal fire escape running down the center.

The easternmost building has an extra floor, and is topped by a brick roof parapet. The others have black metal roof cornices with brackets, modillions, and panels. The three western buildings are slightly taller, with higher cornices. The buildings contain a total of 39 apartment units. They were joined and renovated in 1983.
