 apartment building, 2001_construction

7-story postmodern residential building completed in 2001. Designed by Schuman Lichtenstein Claman & Efron, it is clad in 2-toned beige and brown brick. Except for both end bays, each alternating section is two bays wide, and the brown-brick sections are recessed while the beige brick sections extend out to the building line, creating an accordion effect to the facade; there are a total of 16 bays across the south facade. The brown-brick sections all have double-windows with metal vents below, and the beige-brick sections have tripartite windows with vents built into the lower part of the middle panes. At each floor the beige-brick sections are also banded with three thin bands of brown brick.

The main entrance is at the center two bays, with glass double-doors covered by a peaked, gray canvas canopy that extends out over the sidewalk, flanked by windows. At the entry bays, the ground floor is faced in banded, brown granite. There are also smaller secondary entrances to commercial spaces with single-doors at the flanking beige-brick sections. The far west bay has an entrance to the underground parking garage, and the next bay has an exit. At the roof line the beige-brick sections are topped by grey stone caps. The building contains 102 apartment units.
