Built aprox. 1472-1474.
Was demolished when the patrician house was reconstructed in 1830-1831.
Tower foundations can be seen in the basement along with the foundations of a Gothic chapel, situated behind the plot (possibly Saint Ladislaus Chapel)
Is one of three known examples of a tower house in Sibiu, a rarity in this part of Europe.
A Gothic fleuron with a metal wind flag from 1594 is preserved in the Brukenthal Museum (see photos).
