4-story residential building completed in 1875. It is clad in red brick, with a modernized storefront at the east end of the ground floor. The rest of the ground floor along 44th Street has four windows, and a metal-doored entrance numbered 401 West 44th. There is a small 2-story extension at the west end, with a small storefront and two windows at the 2nd floor, capped by a bracketed, black metal roof cornice.

At the upper floors the main south facade has a bay of two windows in the middle, covered by a black metal fire escape. To the right is a bay of smaller windows, and an end bay of regular sized single-windows. To the left is a bay with double-windows on the 3rd & 4th floors (with the 2nd floor having a single-window next to a smaller window), and an end bay of single-windows at the west. The windows all have white stone sills. The east facade on the avenue has three bays of single-windows, also with stone sills. Both facades are crowned by a black metal roof cornice with paired brackets.

The west elevation above the 2-story extension is faced in white smooth stucco with three bays of windows and a black metal exhaust duct running up to the roof. The ground floor is occupied by La Pulperia HK restaurant.
