Hippodrome

This roman circus/hippodrome was erected between the mid-2nd and 3rd centuries AD. Capable of seating 15.000 spectators, it serves today as the primary venue for the Jerash Festival of Culture and Arts. The Circus measured 245 m in length and 52 in width.
