Saint Marcouf Islands

The Saint Marcouf Archipelago consists of two islands: l'île de Terre ("Land Island") and l'île de Mer ("Sea Island"). The eponymous saint died on the islands in 588. They are uninhabited and have been an ornithological reserve since 1960. Access is restricted.
